Returning

Just got back from the Live Oak Music Festival today. I always like going; this is the 10th year I've gone and I still love it. This year was a little different. It seemed I hung out with all my sister's friends and she hung out with her boyfriend... I dunno, it was fun. There was one band there, Molly's Revenge, an Irish band (wonder if it came from Flogging Molly?) which was really good. They played at the big Main Stage in the morning, and at the Hot Licks Stage that night. A bunch of friends and I went to the night one and danced. I actually danced, sorta... it was fun I guess. Really good music though, and an almost mob feeling, especially when everyone started shouting "Oi" and punching the air. Anyway, there were lots of good bands, lots of good people, and lots of other stuff. My parents gave me $100 to spend on food and stuff, I used $8.00 of it. I probably should have eaten more and bought at least one CD, but it's over now.
On the way home, I realized something. People categorize, seperate, segregate, and degenerate everything. Take time as an example. Time is divided up into years, months, days, hours, minutes, and seconds. It can also be divided by milleniums, decades, weeks, etc... Why not look at time as one continuous thing, as it really is? By all means, continue counting it, but don't look at each interval as a seperate object. That's like looking at each letter instead of the word, or each word instead of the sentence, each sentence as opposed to the paragraph, paragraph to essay (or whatever the literary object is), and on and on. A rather communist idea, I realize, but that's what I believe in. Besides, you can focus on an individual, but the rest of the group will stray and fade. Logic says that the needs of the many outnumber the needs of the few (not just from Spock on Star Trek), and why not be logical?
On a different note, I read another Stephen King book. A collection called Nightmares and Dreamscapes, and I'm amazed again how good King's writing is, how many styles he can write in, and how genius he is. I'm also almost posative he works at OSH (hardware store) in Arroyo Grande, CA. I saw a guy who was working there who looked almost exactly like him with a slight limp (maybe a car ran into him?). I can't prove anything yet, other than he knows of this area, since he mentioned San Luis Obispo in "Umney's Last Case", which is the town I go to school in, and the County I live in. Maybe a hardware store Greenhouse will get some walking trees. That would be awesome. Of course it could have just been some guy who looked like him and sounded a bit like him. Would someone as famous as he is be able to do that without being noticed?

Maybe... But I sort of doubt it... But hope for it...

Eh...
