Back in... business?

Well, thanks to my "Never give up, even if it's a good idea to" mentality, I've created a CheckRevision Database that has allowed my bot to connect to Battle.net again. Which, of course, means I'm working on it again. I've also added Google Ads to my site and blog, so I can hopefully gain some revenue somehow. I've also done freelance programming work on Rent-A-Coder. I've made $2.00 by doing one project. The Donation requests on my site and bot have brought in nothing whatsoever, and I really don't want to look for a job, because I love what I'm doing. Anyway, if you wouldn't mind supporting me and my work, please consider donating, visiting some of my 'sponsors' (the advertisements), or hiring me on RAC.

Also, if you live nearby, you can hire me to come out and fix your computer. Hardware, Software, Networking, whatever. I can probably fix it faster, better, and cheaper than the next guy. Also, those of you that don't live nearby, I can help you to fix your computer yourself. I recently helped my friend Emily fix hers, after a tech guy had already told her family that he could not fix it. Of course, I can only do that if your computer starts up and it's a software problem. I've also received my certification from ExpertRating, a highly accredited certification company that follows ISO standards. Here's my certification logo thing:

Anyway... I've sort of started running out of new things to do, which means it's time to wrap up old projects for a while, and then start brainstorming on the more undeveloped projects, such as Re:Office and Ad Nauseum. I've also started wondering about other forms of the BASIC language series on PCs. So far, REALbasic has been a flop, VB.NET is just stupid, and all the other forms of BASIC are too basic to do anything. Visual Basic 6 is starting to bug me, because of the inefficiency of the compiler, which decides that it converts LenB(strString) = 0 into faster, more efficient code than strString = vbNullString, and if you use "" instead of vbNullString, it's even slower. They all do the same thing, though! Things like that shouldn't exist in a programming language. Java's just got too much overhead with the JRE... It's nice that it runs on any Operating System that can run the JRE, but it runs the same: very slowly. C may be a good language to start learning again... though I never got past the console stuff in C++.

Anyway... I'm hoping to see TV on the Radio at the end of march, when they'll be playing at the Fillmore in San Fransisco. Hopefully Kyle and I will be going together, since none of my other friends seem too enthusiastic about them. Oh wellz.
