What happened to CTRL+ALT+DEL?

Remember when Ctrl+Alt+Del was actually useful? When Blue Screens had a chance of being recovered from? When Windows 98 ruled the PC with a glitchy fist?

What happened? Ctrl+Alt+Del is now useless. It opens up some bullshit "Security" window, or the Task Manager, depending on your settings. What happened to it making your computer restart? What happened to it being useful? I want my tool back!

No More Please

So... I turn 20 in a few minutes. I don't want to, but that's the way our numbering system works.

I don't want to be part of this facade called Society.
I don't want to deal with all the shit humanity has constructed around itself.
I don't want to have to do anything that anyone else tells me to do, unless I have a good reason to do it already. Reason is not incentive.

Damn you Humanity.

KDE Bloated? (Windows was winning)

Today, I was surprised to discover something that makes me rather unhappy. I have in my possession a Compaq Armada 1700. I just put Windows XP Pro (SP3 beta 3264...) on it, and wanted to see about Linux. So, I grabbed Kubuntu 7.04, slipped it in, and got angry. It didn't load KDE! It sat there for an hour after displaying the KDE load screen... Distressed, I loaded up Knoppix 4.2 and it did just fine. I'm sad to say, KDE's newer versions are less compatible than Windows XP... Depressing.
