CDs

Sorry for the insanity last time... Now I have an actual complaint!
CDs suck. Look at how many CDs I have that have gone bad:

That's just depressing. I mean, I've got over 200 CDs that didn't burn correctly. Sure, that's a collection over around 6 years of burning discs, but that's a lot of wasted storage. Near 150 GB. Depressing.

It's not just CDs, though. I don't like tapes, or DVDs, or any of that form of stored media. Stuff that can be scratched, like Flash Drives. Why don't we move on from discs already and start storing stuff on USB drives. Yay universal!

I am insane.

We all know what the universe is. We all know what everything is. We all understand everything there is to know. We are all insane. Life itself is insanity, and death is its end. That is suicide. That is murder. That is equality broken. All lives have their full length precalculated to a certain natural date, and to take that away without reason is to be cruel. To continue this life is to extend the reality of creatures which should not be alive. All who understand this are insane, because they remember what everything attempted to make them forget. That is society.
We will all realize this eventually, we hope. For that is enlightenment given in a mental form, and that is knowledge. Knowledge is the cataloging of all of insanity's major flaws and destruction. That must be upheld, for that is where one may find enlightenment, through any of the senses of the body, for it will show us all the way to pure insanity, and therefore life at it's fullest. Contradictory nature is pure light, by which the mind encompasses all possible senses.

What happened to CTRL+ALT+DEL?

Remember when Ctrl+Alt+Del was actually useful? When Blue Screens had a chance of being recovered from? When Windows 98 ruled the PC with a glitchy fist?

What happened? Ctrl+Alt+Del is now useless. It opens up some bullshit "Security" window, or the Task Manager, depending on your settings. What happened to it making your computer restart? What happened to it being useful? I want my tool back!

No More Please

So... I turn 20 in a few minutes. I don't want to, but that's the way our numbering system works.

I don't want to be part of this facade called Society.
I don't want to deal with all the shit humanity has constructed around itself.
I don't want to have to do anything that anyone else tells me to do, unless I have a good reason to do it already. Reason is not incentive.

Damn you Humanity.

KDE Bloated? (Windows was winning)

Today, I was surprised to discover something that makes me rather unhappy. I have in my possession a Compaq Armada 1700. I just put Windows XP Pro (SP3 beta 3264...) on it, and wanted to see about Linux. So, I grabbed Kubuntu 7.04, slipped it in, and got angry. It didn't load KDE! It sat there for an hour after displaying the KDE load screen... Distressed, I loaded up Knoppix 4.2 and it did just fine. I'm sad to say, KDE's newer versions are less compatible than Windows XP... Depressing.
